The award-winning Brend Hotel group includes 11 luxury hotels across Devon and Cornwall, 18 restaurants, 5 spas and a championship golf course and club.

The group are currently 13th in the Western Morning News 150 top companies in the South West list, with over 1,100 employees.

Our brief

We were originally brought in by the group to publicise the launch of an apprenticeship academy at The Saunton Sands Hotel in Devon. Attending the event, we organised photos, compiled case studies and achieved coverage in a number of online and offline publications. Since then we have supported the group with a variety of PR activities – including publicising their hugely prestigious AA ‘Hotel Group of the Year 2015-16’ title in a broad range of national and regional titles.

With the aim of securing travel reviews in key publications, we also represented Brend Hotels at the TravMedia Exhibition in London, meeting travel writers and commissioning editors and creating essential connections within the travel media that can be utilised to the group’s advantage moving forwards.


What we do

We use the media to raise awareness of Brend Hotels and the luxury accommodation, excellent food and superb facilities they provide. On a local level, this means writing press releases and features about events, refurbishments, appointments, successes and achievements. We also identify key journalists and bloggers to stay and review, advise on networking opportunities and support internal marketing activities.
