A new elbow protector has been added to the award-winning Bloccs’ range.
Designed to keep a PICC line or elbow dressing dry, the Bloccs’ cover is easily and comfortably stretched over the affected area. It is re-usable, available in children and adults’ sizes and has a watertight seal that allows patients to shower and bathe as normally as possible.
All Bloccs’ products – including arm and leg covers – are listed for UK prescription. Researched, developed and manufactured by Bristol-based Precision Dippings Manufacturing (PDM), Bloccs’ have won two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – the first in 2016 for innovation and the second in 2019 for the high international sales growth rate the range has achieved.
The team behind Bloccs has forged close links with UK hospitals and is constantly working to expand its waterproof protection solutions for the medical industry. A knee cover is at the prototype stage and will be launched soon.
