An exciting new trampoline and play park is due to open in Newquay on Friday 19 July.

Funded by GLL, who have invested £2.8 million in its construction, this brand-new all-weather attraction features a trampolining area with two dive towers and an assault course, dedicated play area for under 8s with a glow ball pool, tree house and crawl tubes, as well as a special baby area.

The park is suitable for children and adults of all ages from 1 – 101 and offers the perfect space to jump, dive and burn off excess energy whatever the weather forecast. Away from the excitement enjoy a coffee or snack on the mezzanine area, which overlooks the fun.

During the summer holidays, the trampoline park will open between 10am – 8pm and the play park between 9am – 5pm. Session prices are activity dependent – with under 2 play charged at £2, over 2 £7.50, 1-hour bounce £10.50 and a family of four bounce £31.50.

Customers are encouraged to book in advance, with those who book at least one day before rewarded with up to a 25% discount on entry price. The facility will be cashless.

Trampoline socks will be sold at £2 per pair on entrance, with a percentage of the sales going to the GLL Sport Foundation – which supports athletes across the UK to develop their potential and achieve sporting success.

“We’re delighted to be opening this new park in Newquay, which will provide endless hours of fun for both local families and visitors to the county,” said Tim Webb, Partnership Manager (Cornwall). “We all wish for sunshine during the summer holidays, but inevitably there will be days when it will be necessary to take cover from the Cornish rain and entertain the family. We can’t wait to welcome our first visitors.”

GLL, which operates under the Better brand, took on the management of all Cornwall’s leisure centres on behalf of Cornwall Council in 2017.
