
The front of house team at The Headland Hotel & Spa in Newquay have been chosen as finalists in the ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ category of the 2017\2018 South West Tourism Excellence Awards.
Having won at the Cornwall Tourism Awards and been shortlisted for the national Hotel Cateys awards this year already, it is the latest in a series of impressive accolades for the staff who always have a smile on their face as they meet and greet visitors and create that all-important first impression.
“I’m delighted that the team continues to receive industry recognition for their outstanding commitment to ensuring all our guests feel welcomed and have everything they need for a comfortable, memorable stay,” said Managing Director Darryl Reburn. “We pride ourselves on our attention to detail at The Headland and that is all part and parcel of our customer service ethos. Everyone is treated as an individual and nothing should be too much trouble.”
The Headland is one of two finalists selected for the ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ category covering entrants from Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and Gloucestershire.
The winner will be announced at The Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay on 1 February 2018.
