Castle Writers Dudley will be launching their 2026 anthology at Dudley Library on Thursday 7 May from 10am to 12pm.
Entitled ‘The Village Hall’, the collection of poems and stories will be on sale at the open coffee morning. The writers will also be there, and anyone interested in joining their regular Dudley Library meetings is welcome to come along.
“The new anthology is testament to the group’s creativity and imagination” said librarian Claire Williams. “They clearly enjoy getting together and seeing their work published is a real cause for celebration.”
Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the not-for-profit social enterprise that runs Dudley Library on behalf of the council.
“Congratulations to Castle Writers Dudley on producing ‘The Village Hall’,” said Stephanie Rhoden, Partnership Manager.
“Libraries are a perfect backdrop for those wanting to develop their writing skills in a social, mutually supportive way and the free coffee morning is a good opportunity to meet current members and find out more.”
