Basketball, table tennis, football, multi-sport and pickleball drop ins, junior gym, aqua play, diving, aqua splash inflatable and enhanced soft play are just some of the many activities on offer at Better leisure centres in Reading this half term.

“Our Rivermead, Palmer Park, South Reading and Meadway centres will have lots going on to keep children of all ages occupied,” said Steph Smith, Area Community Sport Manager.

“Kids can swim for just £1 at designated times and we also have parent and toddler splash, family fun swims and extra things to do in our soft play sessions – like drawing and colouring competitions and activity sheets to complete.

“Each centre offers a mix of healthy, engaging and affordable options to fill the school holiday with smiles and movement.”

Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the not-for-profit social enterprise that runs Reading’s four centres on behalf of the council.
