Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and Keynsham Leisure Centre are offering a range of free activities throughout their WellBeing Week from 18-24 November.

They will also be offering free day passes as part of GLL’s national Open Weekend on 23 and 24 November.

Customers can choose from a wide range of options, including strength classes, swimming, trampolining, free gym passes and aerobics classes.

Operating under the Better brand, GLLis a not-for-profit social enterprise that runs the centres on behalf of Bath and North East Somerset Council.

“It’s a great opportunity for anyone wanting to try out different sessions and workshops to come along and give them a go,” said GLL’s local partnership manager Barnaby Rich.

“We are also hosting NHS health checks, a falls clinic, liver checks and a ‘Dress to De-Stress’ session with Bath Theatrical Costume Hire. On top of that, there are workshops in nutrition, mindfulness, bench and deadlift, women’s health and men’s strength and mobility.

“Maintaining and improving health is all about looking after your mind as well as your body and we understand how important a role leisure centres play in that.

“Our WellBeing Week is free and local support groups and services will be providing additional information and guidance.

“Please come along and take advantage of all there is on offer. Everyone is welcome.”

Free activities at Keynsham during the open weekend include soft play, a free dry inflatable session, a children’s swimming lesson and a family fun swim.

Booking is essential.
