Camborne Community and Community Awards will take place in Camborne Rugby Club on Thursday 18 May from 5.30pm.
The event was staged for the first-time last year and nominations for the 2023 awards categories have significantly increased on the back of the inaugural event’s success.
Organised jointly by BID Camborne and Camborne Town Council, the awards celebrate exceptional individual, group or business contributions to the town. Shortlists have been decided and winners will be announced on the night.
“We’re really looking forward to recognising some remarkable achievements once again,” said BID Manager Anna Pascoe. “These are challenging times for everyone but the massive effort some people put into making life as good as it possibly can be for others is truly humbling.
“We’re a close, mutually supportive community and nothing demonstrates that so well as the stories we’ll be telling when declaring our winners.”
