St Austell Leisure Centre is holding a free swim school open day on Saturday 25 February.
As well as a session for toddlers, there will a foundation taster, a swim school assessment, artistic swimming for beginners, a water polo taster and fun distance challenges for those wanting to achieve badges and certificates.
Qualified swim instructors will be on hand throughout to answer questions and provide expert advice.
GLL operates under the Better brand and is the largest swimming lesson provider in the UK.
“We fully understand how important it is to feel safe and confident in the water – especially in a coastal community like ours,” said St Austell Leisure Centre Assistant Manager Jacquelyn Pearce.
“Our centre offers a wide variety of lessons to suit all ages and abilities and we’re looking forward to showing people what’s available and how we can help them.”
Pre-booking into sessions is advisable.
GLL is a not-for-profit social enterprise that runs leisure centres in Cornwall on behalf of Cornwall Council.
