Better leisure centres across Cornwall are making the cost of keeping fit and healthy as affordable as possible by offering all local residents a free Cornwall Card until the end of September 2022.

The card provides discounts on all activities, including swimming, trampolining, soft play, fitness classes and gyms.

Run by not-for-profit social enterprise GLL on behalf of Cornwall Council, the leisure centres are located in Bude, Launceston, Saltash, Liskeard, Wadebridge, St Austell, Bodmin, Newquay, Truro, Helston and St Ives.

“With living costs soaring, we believe it’s vital to do as much we possibly can for local communities,” said GLL Senior General Manager Amelia Kitchen.

“We’re all feeling the financial pinch, but health and fitness are so important – not just for our physical well-being but our mental well-being too.

“The Cornwall Card is a great way of supporting your local leisure centre whilst exercising and having fun at discounted prices. Get one now, whilst they’re still free.”

To get a card, visit the website, find your local leisure centre and choose the pay and play option.

Each family member will need a card to be eligible for discounts. Those with existing Better membership can also access the discounts at the time of booking.
