Orders are now being taken for a range of ‘fabulicious’ Caribbean-inspired ice-cream and sorbet being launched by Levi Roots, in collaboration with Cornwall-based Callestick Farm.

Famous for introducing Reggae Reggae Sauce to the market via the notoriously challenging Dragon’s Den TV show, Levi’s stated aim is ‘to bring the sunshine of the Caribbean to all of his ventures’.  It is the first time the celebrity food entrepreneur has ventured into ice-cream and sorbet.

From March, Levi Roots Toffee Apple & Rum Ice Cream, Mango, Passionfruit & Lime Sorbet, Chocolate, Coconut & Rum Ice Cream and Mango & Hot Chilli Sorbet will be available for wholesale and food service in 2.5 litre tubs.

“I am so excited to be launching my very own fabulicious range of the most delicious flavour ice-creams you will have tasted,” said Levi. “Check them out and let your taste buds be jumping for joy.”

Callestick Farm is an award-winning brand that has achieved 25 per cent growth in the last twelve months.

“We’re delighted to be working with Levi Roots and introducing flavour combinations that add a touch of Jamaican spice and warmth,” said Callestick Farm Sales Director David Jeffs. “They represent a new creative direction in ice-cream and sorbet production and will appeal to people who want to try something different, exotic and wonderfully tasty.”
