A three-year licensing deal has been signed between Levi Roots and Callestick Farm Ice-Cream. The contract means that a unique range of Levi Roots ice-cream and sorbet is in development, with an official launch expected early next year.

Since famously winning investment in the Dragon’s Den to launch his Caribbean-inspired Reggae Reggae Sauce on a national scale, Levi has increased his brand presence with a variety of products. The deal with multi-award-winning Callestick Farm represents an exciting new venture that will certainly spice up the ice-cream market.

“We’ve had many meetings with Levi and his team over the last few months and the flavours we are working on are truly delicious and very different to anything you will currently find in freezer cabinets,” said Callestick Sales Director David Jeffs. “We’re already getting a lot of interest from major supermarket retailers and look forward to making further announcements prior to the product range going on sale in 2020.”

“I am so excited to be launching my very own fabulicious range of the most delicious flavour ice-creams you will have tasted,” said Levi Roots. “Check them out and let your taste buds be jumping for joy!”

Based in Cornwall, Callestick Farm has significantly increased production in 2019 and recently secured a contract worth half a million pounds to export Callestick Farm branded ice-cream to China. Looking at new and ever-changing markets, the company has been diversifying into non-dairy ice creams in response to evolving trends in food choices and is also developing some great new flavours.
