With every employer in the UK now legally obliged to provide a pension scheme for staff, Lang Bennetts Chartered Accountants are providing free seminars on the practicalities of auto-enrolment in Falmouth on Thursday 23 June and Truro on Friday 24 June.

Subjects covered will include documentation requirements, processing, qualifying earnings, paperwork and letters, postponement, time and cost implications, data transfer requirement, pre-assessing pay runs, penalties and costs and timing.

“We know that a lot of local employers are concerned about what they need to do and when,” said Lang Bennetts’ Partner Helen Hood.  “These sessions are being run by our in-house experts and are intended to give practical advice and guidance that will help sort out issues and allay any worries.”

Lang Bennetts are one of the largest independent accountancy firms in Cornwall.  The seminars will take place in their offices at Bickland House, Bickland Water Road in Falmouth at 10.30am on Thursday 23 June and at 9.30am on Friday 24 June at The Old Carriage Works, Moresk Road in Truro.  Places are strictly limited so early booking is recommended.  The sessions will last for about 90 minutes.
