A national property development company with a portfolio of quality building projects to its name throughout the UK is set to transform the former Fistral Bay Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall.
Commonly regarded as the town’s biggest eyesore, the current building occupies a prime site with magnificent sea views but has been derelict for the last ten years. London-based property development company Queensbridge Homes has stepped in with plans to replace the dilapidated structure with a new apartment complex.
An initial meeting with local planners is due to take place at the end of this month and Queensbridge Managing Director Simon Angilley says he is looking forward to progressing a scheme that will transform what is generally agreed to be a blot on the otherwise beautiful Fistral Bay landscape.
“We are proposing a high quality apartment building in a stunning location above the world-famous Fistral Beach, on one of Cornwall’s most beautiful coastlines,” said Simon Angilley. “We’re looking forward to delivering what we believe will be an exciting, landmark development and a detailed planning application will be submitted by late spring or early summer this year.”
